Neodesha Housing Authority is taking applications for a full time maintenance person to help care for 80 properties. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work from a ladder. Detailed record keeping is required. Skills and knowledge in the following areas are required: carpentry, drywall/repair, painting, general household repairs. Skills and knowledge in the following areas are desired: air conditioning & refrigeration, electrical, plumbing maintenance/repair. Must have a phone and valid driver’s license, live in or close to Neodesha and be able to pass a criminal background check. Must be trustworthy, tidy, and enjoy contact with people of all ages and abilities; pleasant personality and patience are desirable qualities. Wages will be based upon experience. We offer: medical insurance, dental, holiday/personal time and KPERS retirement. Preference will be given to NHA residents and low-income citizens of Neodesha.
